CRÈCHE
Take your first step towards an exciting play-based educational adventure.
At Mt Perazim School, we are committed to nurturing a respectful, safe, and disciplined environment that supports academic excellence and moral development. To uphold these values, all students are expected to comply with the following rules at all times:
MPS believes that all children have the right to education and the right to freedom from all forms of violence, abuse and exploitation. Therefore, MPS shall treat all children respectfully, regardless of gender, ethnicity, religious background, or disability. Implementing policies will create an environment encouraging children to develop a positive self-image.
MPS operates an “open door” policy, meaning parents or guardians are welcome to the school anytime. We believe this allows parents to access facilities and see what we offer for children. We strongly advise parents to visit the school before sending their children in for admission.
Parents seeking admission should visit our front desk and follow the admission process. After completing the admission form, parents/guardians will be asked to attend an initial meeting to ensure we rule out any ambiguities and meet the needs of parents and children as detailed on the admission form.
A school uniform is a symbol of pride for oneself and for the school community. It allows the learner to focus on school work, not clothing and provides security identification. Neatness, pride in appearance, and compliance with the school’s uniform code are the responsibility of parents and teachers. As parents, we need your support and cooperation to enforce the uniform regulations.
Children typically adjust to school in different ways. While some children settle in confidently, others may feel nervous and anxious about being away from their parents. Most children will fall somewhere in between. Please be reassured and try not to worry if your child experiences difficulties during their first school day.
MPS recognizes this and will use our experience to support you in whatever way suits you. Please remember that we require all parents to help make this policy effective as we implement innovative ways that best suit your child's settle-in, including allowing parents to be around somewhere on our premises from time to time to interact with their child. However, it should be noted that these practices should be managed so that they do not affect the school's operations and rules.
